Jasmine is an international speaker and educator on Invisalign® and has become one of the main lecturers in the UK in this field.

She has helped many hundreds of dentists to learn how to use Invisalign and continues to be very involved with education. Having worked with the Invisalign® system since 2009, she has a great deal of experience treating a wide variety of case types with this wonderful treatment.

Her focus is always on helping you to achieve a beautiful smile that is completely harmonious within your face, combined with optimum biting and chewing function, all in an efficient, timely way with minimally invasive techniques. Every case is completely bespoke, and you can be as involved as you wish in your own smile design process.

Jasmine is a Platinum Elite Invisalign® Provider, based on cumulated experience over many years of successfully using the Invisalign® system to achieve beautiful smiles for many patients.

Our focus is on delivering the highest level of customer service and outstanding results for every patient we see, so we limit the number of cases we start each year to ensure we provide you with all the care and attention you need to achieve your dream smile.

Align your teeth without people around you even realising that you are wearing braces!

The Invisalign® system uses discreet clear aligners to gradually move your teeth from their current position towards a more favourable alignment position which is predetermined from the very start of your treatment as part of your bespoke smile design process. This individualised planning system takes into account all elements of your smile, including centrelines, gum levels, smile width and teeth lengths. The Invisalign aligners are removable, so you don’t wear them for eating and drinking but aim to wear them at all other times (ideally 20-22 hours each day). You will generally replace the aligners weekly and need to see your dentist every 4-8 weeks throughout your treatment.

Invisalign® is sometimes used as a stand-alone treatment or can be combined with other restorative techniques to achieve your desired end results. We always include a course of professional teeth whitening as part of your alignment treatment to ensure you are absolutely happy with your aligned and brightened smile at the end of your treatment.

What can Invisalign® fix?

invisalign before after

Crowded teeth

Crowded teeth is a condition where you do not have enough room for your teeth to fit normally. This can cause plaque or tartar and other harmful bacteria to build up as it is harder for you to brush and floss well.

invisalign before after

Gaps between teeth

Gaps between teeth is when there is extra space between two or more of your teeth. This can cause pockets between your teeth and gums and can cause food to get stuck making them tender and sore. This might also lead to gum disease.

invisalign before after

Open bite

An open bite is when your upper and lower teeth don't touch when you close your mouth. An open bite can make it hard for you to chew or difficult to bite even the most common of food like apples.

invisalign before after

Underbite

An underbite is when you close your mouth and your lower front teeth are in front of your upper teeth. In many cases, this is actually a problem with your lower jaw being too far forward. An underbite can make it hard to chew properly and speak clearly, and it might cause your teeth to wear down more quickly.

invisalign before after

Overbite

An overbite is when your upper front teeth overlap with your lower front teeth. Most people have at least a little overbite. When your overbite is too large, your doctor might tell you you have a deep bite. This can cause problems, from your teeth wearing down to pain in your jaw.

invisalign before after

Crossbite

A crossbite is when you close your mouth and yet some of your upper teeth are sitting inside your lower teeth rather than on the outside. A crossbite can make your teeth wear down or chip. It can also make your gums start to recede or make little notches above your gum line. This kind of damage can lead to painful gum problems or even bone loss.

FAQs

1. How long will the treatment take?

This depends on how crooked or crowded your teeth are, to begin with. Before you start a course of Invisalign treatment, it is important that you prepare yourself for the process and commit to being disciplined at wearing your aligners every day for 20-22 hours. Every single course of Invisalign treatment we carry out is tailored to each individual patient we are treating, so this is not a one size fits all situation. We take great care to design your smile individually and optimise your end results by looking at all elements of smile design for your case.

Take a look at the Smile Gallery to see examples of Invisalign results.

2. What happens at the end of treatment?

Your teeth will continue to move throughout your life, so it’s very important to plan your retention to prevent your teeth from returning to where they were before. In fact, many people choose to have Invisalign treatment because their teeth have relapsed after they wore braces as a teenager and didn’t wear a retainer for long enough after finishing treatment. Different types of retainers are available, and we will discuss these with you to ensure you have the best chance of maintaining your new, well-aligned smile!

Our preference is usually to provide Invisalign Vivera retainers, as they are extremely well-fitting and durable. We may also advise you to have a bonded retainer fitted behind your front teeth to help maintain your teeth in the newly aligned positions.

3. Why is Invisalign better than other systems?

Not all clear aligner systems are the same!

Invisalign has 20 years of extensive global development and over 14 million cases of successful treatment. Their aligners incorporate various patented technologies that are unrivalled in other clear aligner systems. We can provide truly predictable, discreet, comfortable and timely beautiful results for our patients with Invisalign.

4. Why see Dr Jasmine Piran for your Invisalign treatment?

Jasmine has been using the Invisalign system since 2009 and has carried out many hundreds of Invisalign treatments during this time. She has achieved Platinum Elite provider status and is also extensively involved in educating other dentists on the use of Invisalign both nationally in the UK and also internationally in Poland, Israel and Africa.
